This exchange is only open to 10 people at a time. 10 people will place their names in a list. Each person will be given one of the 10 to create a bookmark for. The Bookmark Artists acknowledge that they need to be able to send the bookmark to their given person. Bookmarks can be created in any medium, but artists should keep in mind that the surface should be somewhat smooth and not be able to leave any marks on pages (for example, no chalk, glitter, crayon unless you can laminate it) The receivers can upload pictures of the bookmarks to the Bookmark Exchange Gallery If you find that you're unable to complete a bookmark in a timely manner, please let everyone know as soon as possible :) When placing your name, you can have 3 words that might describe and inspire a bookmark suited to you. 2010-11-07 [Linderel]: I use all kinds of things as bookmarks on a regular basis :D Receipts, playing cards, pieces of paper decorated with stickers... I do have actual bookmarks, I think. I just have no clue where. xD

2010-11-07 [pixish]: I think Michael has a bookmark, it's one of Liv Tyler in the Lord of the Rings :p He never reads though, and I prefer my bookmarks to be ... less commercialised :p

2010-11-14 [windowframe]: Blah. I started making mine, and then discovered the technique I was going to use wasn't going to work. I'm still trying to think of another way to do it.
2010-11-14 [Nioniel]: I need to print mine, then laminate it. The laminating won't be a problem, I have a machine at home, but for the life of me, I can't find a colour printer to use! :(

I got hanhepi's one laminated at the newsagent across the road from me :)
2010-11-15 [Nioniel]: Tomorrow I'm going to visit craft shops and photo print shops to see if they can do it, I think. Our library used to have a colour printer, but not anymore, apparently. :(
